Conservative Wordsmith writes: I once heard Dennis Prager discussing a poll which indicated that conservative Republicans are happier than liberal Democrats. I must say that I agree. Liberals just do not understand the key to happiness. In fact, I believe the familiar saying, "Misery loves company" must apply to liberals.
They seem to truly enjoy feelings of unhappiness and anger. They almost relish in angry retorting remarks, and seek out victims to assail with their verbal attacks. Don't be one of their victims. Don't let them terrorize you with their explosive comments. Don't give them what they want. What do they want? They want a huge verbal confrontation. This is what they live for, their reason for getting out of bed in the morning, truly, as the French would say, their raison d'etre (reason for being or existing).
They don't need coffee as a mental stimulant; they only need arguments, and these will suffice to give them energy. They don't need vitamins - their nutritional support comes from hostile verbiage aimed at conservatives. Just try having a normal conversation with a leftist liberal and you will immediately see what I mean. It is almost impossible, and I give credit to Townhall's talk-show hosts, such as Dennis Prager, Michael Medved, and Hugh Hewitt, for being willing to take them on, and demonstrating to them that conservative thinkers can meet every one of their unreasonable objections with reasonable responses.
Do liberals ever bother to listen to themselves? I doubt it. They are overly concerned with trying to force others to believe in their interpretations of morality and ethics. They don't have time to listen to others with opposing views. Their lives are consumed with hostile thoughts, and their so-called pacifistic ideals betray them every time they open their mouths.
