Mitt Romney received standing ovations and frequent applause from a packed house at the Washington Briefing 2007: Values Voter Summit sponsored by FRC Action, on Friday night, October 19. Mitt Romney, a Mormon, spoke these words. They sound exactly like the words of a born-again Christian, do they not? Whatever Mitt's personal beliefs as a Mormon may be, his values are certainly conservative, Republican, and Christian.
The standing ovations and frequent applause from a crowd of social conservatives proves this point. If you are a Christian, and you are still basking in your erroneous idea that you could never support a Mormon, ask yourself this question: Would you support a Jew?
