Conservative Wordsmith Susan Baldwin writes: According to former President Bill Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton is a "world-class genius" in helping others improve their lives.
"'The reason she ought to be president, over and above her vision and her plans is that she has proven in every position she has ever had in life, whether it was in elected office or not, that she is a world-class genius in making positive changes in other people's lives,' he said." 1
"Clinton lauded his wife for her early work for the Children's Defense Fund, her efforts to improve education in Arkansas when he was the state's governor and her work in the U.S. Senate, repeatedly and forcefully calling her 'an agent of change.'" 1
"'She's got the right vision, big plans and a proven ability to change lives for the better. Experience and change are only opposed in values if you're so experienced you don't have any energy left and you can't cut it, or if your experience is in fighting change,' he said." "'But if you know how to do things, and you prove it over a long time that you can make change in other people's lives, I think that is a pretty strong recommendation.'" 1
Thank you, former President Bill Clinton for telling the world why you think your wife Hillary Clinton should be the next U.S. President. I'm glad you pointed out the reason to us, because maybe some people will be stirred into political reality by this statement, realizing that the reason you cited is not an extremely impressive one.
I am not a child, nor do I reside in Arkansas. I can't seem to find any words that would describe Hillary Clinton’s work in the U.S. Senate as an indication that she is a "world-class genius." I really can't relate to Hillary as "an agent of change," because none of her deeds have affected my life one iota.
Besides that fact, the examples that Bill Clinton mentioned are not, at least to me, anything that evokes feelings of tremendous awe or admiration. If he had said that she spent years working with lepers in India, I might have been able to muster up a tiny bit of respect for her so-called "world-class genius." (I emphasize the word "might.")
The fact is, though, that Hillary Rodham Clinton is not another Mother Teresa of Calcutta, India. Does Hillary even remotely resemble the famous Roman Catholic nun that spent years of her life ministering to lepers, whom she called "the poorest of the poor?"
So, please, Mr. former President Bill Clinton, do not expect me to believe your exaggerated statement. Actually, I think that you could be called a world-class genius in stretching the truth. While there may be others who worship the very ground you and your wife Hillary walk on, I, for one, am not one of them.
It's a good thing that Bill Clinton did not actually say that his wife Hillary is a genius in the commonly understood interpretation of that word, because that would be going a bit too far. Hillary has made some of the most nonsensical comments ever made by a politician. If you are familiar with some of her comments, you will immediately understand what I am saying. *If you are not, please see my related post below.
