Conservative Wordsmith Susan Baldwin writes: Did you know that Mormons invented many of the well-known items and devices we all use daily? You can thank Philo Farnsworth, a Mormon, for inventing your television. If you have trouble hearing, you can thank another Mormon inventor, Harvey Fletcher, for inventing your hearing aid. The visual and musical entertainment we all enjoy in our homes on a daily basis, and which most of us take for granted, are largely due to Mormon creativity.
Here is a partial list of Mormon inventions:
