Conservative Wordsmith Susan Baldwin writes: Hillary Clinton has possibly gained a conservative endorsement from author Ann Coulter. In a recent interview on FOX News' Hannity & Colmes show, Ann Coulter stated that she will vote for Hillary Clinton if John McCain turns out to be the Republican presidential nominee. In fact, Ann Coulter’s several statements about Hillary Clinton were so supportive that one could easily be persuaded to believe that Ann has been fooling everyone all along. Is Ann Coulter a true conservative or is she a liberal in sheep's clothing?
I have written before that I could never vote for Hillary Clinton. Frankly, I find the mere thought of Bill and Hillary Clinton presiding in the White House again to be absolutely revolting. I am disappointed and appalled that Ann Coulter's abhorrence of John McCain could actually lead her into the terrible mistake of being on the serious verge of endorsing Hillary Clinton. Ann Coulter actually said: "I'm a Hillary girl now." Ann Coulter also said, in reference to John McCain, that "Hillary is absolutely more conservative." It is unfortunate that Mitt Romney, a true conservative Republican leader, had to suspend his candidacy. If Mitt Romney had been an ordained Baptist minister like Mike Huckabee, or even an enthusiastic member of an evangelical church, rather than a Mormon, he most likely would be in the forefront right now.
The truth is that John McCain is a conservative Republican and Hillary Clinton is a liberal Democrat. If you believe that John McCain’s conservative views are not conservative enough, does that mean that he is a liberal? No. If you believe that Hillary Clinton is more conservative than John McCain, does that mean that Hillary Clinton is a conservative? No.

COULTER: Yes.
COLMES: You would actually go in a voting booth —
COULTER: If it's close and the candidate is John McCain, because John McCain is not only bad for Republicanism, which he definitely is. He is bad for —
