Conservative Wordsmith Susan Baldwin writes: Obama/Biden fans: If change is what you want, consider John McCain/Sarah Palin as the true vehicles for political change. If you are a liberal, and you claim to be infinitely more open-minded than your fellow conservatives, consider this: You may think that the Barack Obama/Joe Biden ticket is the answer to every liberal's dreams, but I believe that if they win (and now that Sarah Palin is in the Republican race, that dream is becoming more and more unlikely), you may be in for a huge disappointment.
The only change that the Obama/Biden team will be capable of delivering will be one huge Zero which stands for no change, words without actions, and vague, empty promises that will not be kept. These are the idols of liberal daydreamers, and we all know that daydreaming, although pleasant, does not offer a solid basis for choosing America's next political leaders.
Whatever your thoughts might be regarding Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, one thing can't be denied. Sarah Palin is definitely a strong, yet pleasant, breath of fresh air in American politics, and, thanks to the brilliant move on the part of John McCain in choosing her, Democrats now truly have something to fear--the fact that Sarah Palin is savvy enough to be impervious to the liberal media's attempt at political sabotage.
ABC News Anchorman Charles Gibson's recent interview with Sarah Palin, and his obvious attempt to trap her, to try to make her look both ignorant and weak, miserably failed. She was victorious, although to read some of the liberal media's commentaries on that interview leaves me to wonder if they were watching the same interview I saw, or if they viewed it in another dimension.
