Conservative Wordsmith Susan Baldwin writes: Mitt romney, Former Republican presidential candidate in the 2008 election, may yet run again for U.S. President in 2012. I was glad to see this story due to my constant support of Mitt, having written extensively about Article 6 of the U.S. Constitution (the "no religious test" clause in regards to Mitt's Mormon (Latter-Day Saint) religion, and the need for evangelical Christians to let go of their religious intolerance.
Unfortunately, that didn't happen, and now we have one of the most liberal Democrats of all time for our newly elected U.S. President, President-Elect Barack Obama. Mitt was the most conservative of all of the candidates, and it's good to see some Republicans asserting his viable candidacy in 2012. It's just too bad that didn't happen in 2008.
