You can take charge of your life and master challenges, including the difficult challenge of unemployment. Every person has skills and gifts, and the individual who uses those skills and gifts to get ahead has a huge advantage over the individual whose gifts are buried. Jobs are not the only means by which a person can earn money. Self-employment is another option.
Whether you like to write, sing, play the guitar, cook, bake or do any number of other activities, there are other people who are sure to appreciate your contributions. Do the things you are good at doing, and find an audience that pays you for what you do. You just might discover that you no longer need to depend upon jobs or Obama's so-called plans for new jobs that are sure to quickly fizzle out.
