Republican Debaters Set A Positive Example of Courtesy

I watched the entire Republican debate yesterday (Saturday, November 12, 2011), which was an official 2012 Presidential Debate for the 2012 Republican presidential nominees. I must state that any of the candidates, with the exception of Ron Paul (a libertarian disguised as a Republican) would make a much better President of the United States of America than President Barack Obama.

I appreciated the fact that Mitt Romney stood up for his right to speak for 30 additional seconds at the beginning of the debate. I also enjoyed the defense of Mitt Romney by Newt Gingrich, who refused to make any negative comments about Mitt Romney. It was pleasant to hear Newt Gingrich defend Mitt Romney, stating something to the effect that Mitt Romney was a much better contender for the United States presidency than our current President Barack Obama.

The Republican nominees acted courteously toward one another. It was refreshing to see serious individuals who really want to help America and Americans, in contrast to many liberal Democrats whose only goals are to raise taxes, especially on those whom they deem as wealthy persons.
