There is a powerful temptation in the world that favors liberalism because it is easier to be a liberal than a conservative. It doesn't require any commitment to believe in a philosophy that is the antithesis of accountability. Liberal viewpoints disguised as positive ideals attempt to turn right-wing conservatives to the left. Songwriters veil their hidden political agendas with memorable or hauntingly beautiful melodies. Singers entice their audiences to embrace liberalism by including one or two liberal songs in a live concert.
Those that hate our President, George W. Bush, hate him with a hatred that is difficult to understand. I am not speaking here about terrorists, but about everyday citizens that go along with the crowd of Bush Haters, and agree with everything they say. It only takes a man like Michael Moore to convince them that Bush had truly evil intentions in the Emma E. Booker Elementary School classroom on 9/11. I looked at the president's face when he was told what had just happened, and I saw the deep sorrow, grave concern, and righteous anger in his eyes. This look was still engraved in my heart and mind when I voted, as I'm sure it was for many Americans. But then there were those that believed in Guru Michael Moore's interpretation, and followed him all the way to the gate that leads to the temptation of liberalism.
It doesn't require hard work or dedication to be a liberal, to live in the left hemisphere. One only has to follow and believe every word that emanates from the mouths of leftist idols. It takes diligent research, deep thought, and a willingness to change in order to take the steps required to cross over to the right hemisphere. It takes determination and steadfastness to be a conservative who is not captivated by liberalism.
