Mitt and Ann Romney Have My Vote

Conservative Wordsmith Susan Baldwin writes: Mitt Romney said today, on the first Monday in October, which marks the start of the U.S. Supreme Court term, that, as President, he will nominate judges that support the Constitution. Mitt said, "The Court will face questions involving the death penalty, voter identification as a means of ensuring fair elections, efforts to stop child pornography, whether terrorists held as enemy combatants deserve special rights, and perhaps even our right to keep and bear arms. That is why it is important that we nominate justices in the strict constructionist mold of Roberts, Alito, Scalia and Thomas."*

Governor Romney also said, "Those holding themselves out for the Presidency have an equally solemn obligation: to find women and men for judicial service who respect the rule of law and who will be faithful to the law as enacted. As President, I intend to nominate judges who respect the separation of powers, are committed to judicial restraint, and have a genuine appreciation of the text, structure, and history of our Constitution."

Governor Mitt Romney has been consistent in his convictions about issues such as stopping child pornography, and the importance of not backing down to terrorists. He fully supports the Iraq War and has deep respect for President George W. Bush.

I recently saw an interview with Ann Romney on KCAL 9, a Los Angeles based television station, in which she mentioned that she and Mitt have been married for 38 years. She appears to be a saintly woman, who has suffered with Multiple Sclerosis for 9 years, and is seemingly victorious over the negative ramifications that often occur with this disease.

She is an extremely intelligent woman, who also has a deep belief in God, and in her Mormon faith. In my opinion, Ann Romney would make a great First Lady. She really made a good impression on me during this interview, and I realized, as I was listening to what she had to say, that Mitt and Ann Romney are the best choice for Republican President and Republican First Lady.

I have not until this moment indicated who I am officially supporting. I now want my readers to know that from this day forward, Mitt and Ann have my full support, and I plan to continue writing posts about his Presidential Campaign.
