Conservative Wordsmith Susan Baldwin writes: The CNN/YouTube Republican Debate will be broadcast live on Wednesday, November 28, at 8 PM ET.* A contest, consisting of submissions of YouTube videos posing questions to all of the Republican candidates, will be part of this CNN Debate. 1
One of my readers, Philip Taylor, sent me an email notifying me of his YouTube Video Entry, featuring an adorable little five-year-old child whose name is Destiny. She asks a very important question about religious freedom: Destiny wants to know if religious freedom will be defended, so that an American Mormon girl, like herself, could be President of the United States one day. This question is directed to all of the Republican presidential candidates, but Mitt Romney's answer is the one I am most interested in hearing, since he is an American Mormon, and could become the next U.S. President. 2
I can't help but notice the symbolism in Destiny's name. What will be the destiny of the children of America today? Will they grow up to become truly tolerant adults? Will children like Destiny have a chance to become President of the United States one day? Perhaps Governor Mitt Romney will pave the way for their destiny.
The name of Philip Taylor's entry, is "Defending religious freedom." Since this video perfectly coincides with my concern for religious liberty and tolerance, I ask my readers to view this video and show Philip your support. The link is provided below. 2
