Hillary Clinton Wants MY Stuff?

Conservative Wordsmith Susan Baldwin writes: How is it possible that Hillary Clinton could actually be representing the Democratic Party as a top candidate running for U.S. President? I just came across an article on About.com by Daniel Kurtzman called "Stupid Hillary Clinton quotes - The 10 Stupidest Things Hillary Clinton Has Ever Said." Here is Number 3: "We are going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good." How about Number 10? "I have to confess that it's crossed my mind that you could not be a Republican and a Christian."*

I don't know about you, but I don't want the President of the United States taking anything away from me on behalf of the common good. To the best of my knowledge, I really don't own anything that the U.S. President would want anyhow, especially if that president would happen to be Hillary.

Now President Bush, on the other hand, might be interested in a few of my books, but I know he would not want to take them away from me. This is a typical liberal statement if I ever heard one. We want your stuff - give everything to us, and we will take care of you for the rest of your lives. You don't need to take any responsibility for yourselves, because we, the government, the all-knowing ones, will do that for you. This sounds great, right? Wrong, wrong, wrong!!!

Regarding Number 10, I would have to wonder where Hillary has been for most of her life. Did the thought never really cross her mind that people can't be Republicans and Christians? If she is that much out of touch with reality, then how could she possibly function as Commander-in-Chief? How can I possibly take anything she says seriously?

I realize that these quotes have been taken out of context, which is why they are more humorous, so you liberals out there don't need to post your angry comments on my blog. Just stop ridiculing President George W. Bush for any of his quotes that you thought were dumb. President Bush's quotes are witty, buy Hillary's are just dumb, and lack any sense of wit.
